Sonic 4 is set to be the Sonic game we’ve all been waiting for since the 90’s. We’ve had years of bizarre Sonic games being pumped out by Sonic Team that have tried and failed at brining life back to this blue hedgehog but have they managed it with Sonic 4? A major difference found in Sonic 4 is the ability to level select, upon completing the first level of the game you’re given access... more.
  • Gears of War 3 Beast Mode Preview

It's such a shame that going into the Eurogamer Expo last week we found out that Gears of War 3 has been delayed into from April to Fall 2011, but that didn’t stop us from playing the hugely anticipated Beast mode at length. My very first impression of the new mode was that it is virtually like the Horde mode, except you play as the Locust, so anyone familiar with Horde will instantly underst... more.

Move is one of Sony's major launches this year and with Microsoft's competitor on the horizon, we thought we'd give you a run down on how Move is shaping up right now, and whether it's worth your money. The Move controller is easy to hold and your thumb rests nicely on the new “Move” button and your middle finger on the trigger. The PlayStation Move controller is light and easy to hold allo... more.

Sony trialled out a "PlayStation Beta" event this weekend at the Custard Factory in Birmingham, showcasing some of their biggest upcoming games, including LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, Dead Nation, and Gran Turismo 5 , many of which were in 3D. Not only were those huge titles on show, but we also got to try out PlayStation Move and some of its release games as well. I managed to get my hands on (... more.

At E3 we were told that a new subscription service was going to be introduced to all of the PlayStation Network users that offers great discounts, free games and content that will be exclusive to the PlayStation while still kept online gaming free. A month has now passed since it first when live, but has it been value for money so far? The answer for me is a solid "no," at least not yet anyway.... more.

Hydro Thunder Hurricane has been one of this year's XBLA games I have been most looking forward to. We've seen all the trailers, but how good is the game? The belated sequel to Midway's Hydro Thunder arcade classic, the game pits powerboat racers against one another through ostentatious "theme park" levels filled with destructable environmental objects, huge waves and whirlpools, keeping each r... more.

It’s that time again when we receive a new Tiger Woods PGA Tour and after last year’s version I was left very disappointed and was very sceptical for the release of 2011. The addition of the precision putting was a great idea but was not well enough thought through and became too difficult in putting. A year has now passed and we have seen Tiger Woods being thrown into the limelight not bec... more.
