When I first read about Burnout Crash I was skeptical. The crashing element of Burnout is something which set it apart from other racers since it's first inception back in 2001 but would it hold up as a complex enough idea to form a whole arcade game? The answer: yes, yes it does. One thing is for sure, this installment of the Burnout series is NOT a driving game. In fact there is not even a ke... more.Bug Wings Review

In a world where Angry Birds reigns supreme, it is no wonder that pretenders aim to steal its crown, just like the pigs stole the eggs. Bug Wings has taken the flick and land mechanic of Angry Birds (minus the kamikaze nature) but fused it with another iOS game staple, using the gyroscope to fly which can make even the timid of game want to throw his or her iPhone out of the window in a fit of ... more.Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent Review

Puzzle Agent isn’t your typical Telltale game. Usually known for hilarious, episodic, point-and-click adventure games, this is an entirely different affair. Released as part of their pilot project and with a sequel on the way, Puzzle Agent is more Professor Layton than Sam and Max. And by ‘more Professor Layton,’ I mean the titles share a lot more in common than their quirky settings and hat... more.EA take control of Mobile Developers Firemint

I had a hard time thinking about how I’d start this review for Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. I could’ve described how I stroked my nonexistent beard, ruminating on what overly-academic jargon I could use, such as opening it by describing its literary style and linguistic mish-mashing as being homologous with the poetics of Twitter pop culture. Or I could’ve pegged it as a rather Bo... more.Championship Manager 1980s Legends Review

Championship Manager 2011 for the iPhone was a huge disappointment for me. All the focus seemed to be shifted to the UI, which was perfect for a mobile platform, but in turn the game engine felt the burden of it. An extremely buggy player search feature, unrealistic transfers, absolutely terrible game animation sequences and some very peculiar results to boot. So, I asked myself, why do I have ... more.Square Enix form smartphone development studio

The 'insanely addictive' iOS smash hit Doodle Jump is set to be released for Kinect on Xbox 360 in the future, developer Lima Sky have announced. There are no details about the console port, the release date or any possible (and presumably necessary) gameplay adjustments, however an educated guess suggests that there might be some body-tilting involved. Lima Sky have also announced that they wi... more.
