It’s been two years since Fable II’s release and it’s safe to say there’s a lot of anticipation and hype surrounding the series’ return. Fable III was set to be one of the biggest and most immersive RPG experiences we’ve seen for years, but did Lionhead pull it off? Fable III is set fifty years on from the events of Fable II. The last monarch, your Hero in Fable II, has died and the... more.

I settle down at 7pm to play Fallout: New Vegas for the first time. I’m a bit nervous – it’s been two years since Fallout 3. That was a tremendous game, but have we moved on? Or has the Fallout magic worn off? Seven hours later I know the answer. My eyes are in screaming agony, but I can’t peel myself away from the screen. I’m exhausted, but I have to finish one last quest. One thing ... more.

Super Meat Boy - the quadrilateral of meaty goodness has finally arrived to Xbox LIVE Arcade and I've managed to resist spamming my 'A' button for a while, take stock and de-liver you a beefy review. I shall get straight to the point, Super Meat Boy is one of the most frustrating and potentially control pad smashing games you could ever play, yet on the flip-side its utterly addictive gamepla... more.

I’m going to be honest here, when I first saw the Medal of Honor announcement I was excited – very excited. The single player experience looked to be the most authentic war scenario yet and with DICE handling the multiplayer there was little room for error – unfortunately it seems that little room managed to get occupied. The game’s campaign takes place in 2002 during the immediate afte... more.

It's that time of year again folks, when EA pump out yet another FIFA title. As always there are two questions on everyone's lips: firstly, is it simply a copy and paste of the previous year's release? And secondly, will it beat PES in the race to be the number one football game on the market? I am happy to report that FIFA 11 is not simply a carbon copy of last year's game. Yes, there are some... more.

If there was one thing about Dead Rising 2's demo/DLC taster Case Zero that made me finally give over and enjoy the series, it was the combo weapons. So, when early on in the game I was presented with the opportunity to combine a torch and a gem to make a lightsaber, I knew that Case Zero's weapons were just the tip of the iceberg. Razor-sharp boxing gloves? Wheelchair tanks? Lightsabers? It al... more.

Alien Breed 2: Assault is the sequel to Team17’s top-down shooter Alien Breed Impact, and the second instalment in a trilogy of downloadable reboots for the series. The game was quietly released last week among a handful of other titles - but that’s no reason to miss this action packed shooter. The game features a story mode in which you must move from waypoint to waypoint activating panels... more.
  • Blade Kitten Review

Blade Kitten follows protagonist, Kit Ballard, a partially feline human bounty hunter as she chases down her mark on the planet of Hollow Wish, the character at first appears to show promise, and the cel-shaded art style looks generally quite good. But when in motion, does this illusion of potential stand up? Or is it set to disappear into the fog of being yet another fatally bland arcade title? ... more.

The Formula One season is currently heading towards an explosive finale with any one of four drivers looking to take this year's title, but does Codemasters' F1 2010 have what it takes to match this year's excitement? Codemasters are certainly best known for their expertise of releasing solid racing games, such as GRiD, the Colin McRae series and more recently DiRT, where the balance of arcade ... more.
