There’s no doubt that there’s been a lot of interest following Capcom’s announcement that the Resident Evil series would be making its way over to the handheld market; especially to the Nintendo 3DS – what better way to make a zombie more terrifying than having it leaping out of the screen, all courtesy of the console’s glasses-free 3D? However, Capcom’s choice to bring the Mercenaries... more.Nintendogs + Cats Review

When playing the original Nintendogs back in 2005, there was a single thought that stuck in my head. Journalistically it isn't a very impressive term. It’s not technically even a word. But it’s too accurate to ignore: that word was b'awwwww. Overwhelmingly cute and oddly addictive, the game was a hit with the younger audiences and is arguably one of the games that helped launch the 3DS into... more.Rayman 3D Review

Ubisoft have a firm grasp on the Nintendo 3DS’s launch with a plethora of releases hitting the shelves for the console. However, the launch of the Nintendo 3DS has seen Konami make a triumphant return with Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D boasting the previously successful tried and tested PES gameplay along with some swish new 3D visuals. The game packs plenty of punch for your money with an in-dept... more.Pilotwings Resort Review

It seems odd to me that, with a wealth of unfairly ignored franchises in the Nintendo backlog bursting for a modern upgrade, the company chose Pilotwings to bring back on the 3DS. But once the 3D effects take hold, it begins to make sense why the game was chosen to demonstrate the new technology. After nearly 15 years Pilotwings is back, and there have been a few changes. The game offers up three... more.Ridge Racer 3D Review

Ridge Racer is no stranger to any console. There’s a good chance you’ve played at least one game in the series at some point. This year, Namco’s age-old racing series has nestled its way into Nintendo’s 3DS launch line-up, but can it adapt to a whole new dimension of gaming? Let’s start with Ridge Racer 3D’s most obvious addition to the series: 3D. The game feels perfect on the 3DS,... more.Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition Review

Handheld fighting games never tend to get across the full experience that the console and arcade equivalents deliver. They often lack the graphical ability, controls and social experience of their big brothers. Pulling off combos and playing along with friends isn't much of a satisfying experience if you can’t give a victory shout directly into the person’s face, pleased that your complex bu... more.
