Nintendo's plans for 3DS downloads of both retro games via the Virtual Console and "3D Classics" (retro games with 3D effects added) via the 3DS eShop have been outlined by the company, as well as their plans to make all existing DSiWare available when the service launches in May 2011. Sony Ericsson have finally dropped some details on the gaming side of the Xperia Play, previously known as the PlayStation Phone. Kazuo Hirai has said it will come pre-loaded with an unnamed "legendary" PS1 game, with a number of PlayStation titles available on a timed exclusivity to the Xperia Play via the Android Market. Activision Publishing yesterday announced Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, another reboot for the Spyro franchise that could actually be quite interesting. Now where will you play those totally fine I own the cartridge back-ups and ROMs? A high-court judge has scored one for the developers today, ruling the popular R4 cards illegal to import, advertise and sell in the United Kingdom.
