At a recent press conference, publisher Activision announced the death of the Guitar Hero and DJ Hero franchises, which will be discontinued (including all DLC) come February 2011. Development on this year's Guitar Hero game has been cancelled, and Activision Publishing's Guitar Hero business unit has been disbanded. Long story short, the Hero franchise is dead. Ubisoft have today announced the latest title in the Call of Juarez franchise- Call of Juarez The Cartel- with some screens to go with it. DICE has released the first trailer for Battlefield 3 which teases some urban-looking warfare, complete with exploding missiles, falling helicopters and fighter jets. 14 new images from the upcoming FEAR 3 (which I categorically refuse to stylise as 'F3AR') have been released by Warner Bros. showing the store areas from the game, with plenty of dangling carcasses and creepy children for you to take a look at.
