I tend to play driving games from the standard behind the car perspective. Racing purists insist that in-car or bumper cameras are the only way to play properly, but they’ve always left me cold. That’s because I love cars. I love how they look. I love how they sound. And when I’m screeching round Silverstone in a souped-up supercar, I want to be able to stare lovingly at its stunningly rende... more.Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Review

The Lego series of games have become extremely successful over the last few years, with Indiana Jones, Batman and Harry Potter all getting Lego brick treatment. But it is the first of these Lego-fied instalments, Star Wars, which has proven to be the biggest hit. As a result, we see the latest release come from the Star Wars franchise and its ever popular Clone Wars animated TV series. The main... more.Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime Review

At first glance, this sounds like a fantastic idea: four Ghostbusters (albeit, not the originals) in a top down, dual stick shooter clearing New York of some ghoulish nasties. What's not to like? Sadly, all we get is a shocking use of a brilliant franchise that leaves us with a game lacking in pretty much everything. The story of the game begins 4,000 years ago, with thousands of cult members l... more.F1 2011 announced, 3DS and NGP versions confirmed

It seems that EA's LA studio are working on a new, currently unannounced third person shooter, if a new job posting is anything to go by. Listed on the publisher's recruitment site, a new opening has arisen for a 'senior multiplayer designer', the article stating: "EA Los Angeles is looking for an experienced Multiplayer Level Designer to work on an unannounced Third Person Shooter game with str... more.Crysis 2 Review

The first Crysis is remembered more for its stunning visuals than its gameplay. I suspect that with Crysis 2, history will record things the other way round. Don’t get me wrong – even on the consoles; Crysis 2 is a handsome game. Exploring the battle-scarred streets and parks of New York reveals some spectacular sights, and the game is packed with great visual effects. But when you put the ... more.Battle: Los Angeles Review

I was hoping it would be a different story for Battle: Los Angeles. I was ... more.
