It's been over fifteen years since electric marsupial Sparkster last hit the Mega Drive and SNES, and this is a revival long overdue. Konami have handed over developer responsibilities to Climax Studios, a company that has only recently come under the spotlight for genuine quality in the form of the latest Silent Hill game, Shattered Memories. Their history ranges from Lego Racers to porting V... more.Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto... One of the most popular yet controversial game series’ ever made. Hard to believe that it all started as a 2D top down game back in 1997! Now of course, it’s built on a 3D engine and is now tearing up the latest consoles in HD. Developed in Scotland by Rockstar North, it’s definitely one of the finer British gaming exports and it’s still got plenty of life left in it... more.4 of the Best Xbox LIVE Indie Games

A few weeks ago, NXT's Graydon did a list of top 10 Indie games for PC. Though arguably the home of independent gaming, there is plenty to be had outside of Audiosurf, Machinarium and the like. The 360 has had its own little market plugging away for a while now. The Xbox Live Indie Game market has, since launch, seen little in the way of major success. Stand-out titles may make a few bucks f... more.Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter Review

Harmonix and Activision dominate the music rhythm game market by a good few miles, but even they are not perfect. There are a few glaring gems that aren't in their sacred rhythm games, and I have taken it upon myself to point them out. And so, I present to you, 10 songs I wish were in Guitar Hero or Rock Band. 10. Smooth Criminal – Michael Jackson Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal”... more.Alan Wake Review

Alan Wake – the game that almost never was. It’s been five years since Alan Wake was originally announced at E3 but it was in 2009 that the game finally came to light and we started to see what it was actually about and it looked amazing. Remedy have quite openly announced that Alan Wake was hugely inspired by the likes of Twin Peaks, LOST and several Stephen King novels – which to any horro... more.Just Cause 2 Review

I’m going to be honest; I was very sceptical about Just Cause 2. Not because what I had seen looked bad, I just didn’t enjoy the first Just Cause game. Square Enix promised us an explosive third-person shooter and they gave us just that, quite literally. Just Cause 2 is all about explosions and creating havoc; so much so that to progress through the game a sufficient amount of chaos must be ca... more.Tecmo Bowl Throwback Review

Tecmo Bowl Throwback is an XBLA and PSN remake of 90's NES classic Tecmo Super Bowl, an American Football game that has received a lot of over the years. Appearing in various Top NES Title lists across the internet, it wouldn't take an analyst to see a HD remake coming. Here it is, charging onto your consoles for download at a reasonable 800 MSP, with near-everything coming from the original intac... more.Puzzle Chronicles Review

When it comes to puzzle games, developer Infinite Interactive are definitely no strangers. Puzzle Chronicles combines the standard puzzle gameplay with an element of roleplaying and combat. The game offers a fair amount of levels, each with their own RPG-esque storyline. The games gem matching gameplay is fun and addictive; however visuals are sub-par and often detract from the fun of the game. ... more.Call of Duty: Black Ops Trailer Analysis

Treyarch’s newest instalment in the Call of Duty franchise is Call of Duty: Black Ops. Penned for a November 9th release, the game is already causing much speculation as the first trailer debuted on April 30th. The trailer depicts a point-of-view sequence taking place in a lab, with blurred lights and frantic head turning. What appears to be a date can be seen on a clock, placing the yea... more.
