A film to video game conversion is more often than not the type of game I like to avoid. Often featuring a very linear story that is either very predictable having seen the film, or that makes viewing the film pointless due to the story being told in an inferior way, notable exceptions aside, they tend not to be worthwhile. I was hoping it would be a different story for Battle: Los Angeles. I was ... more.Full House Poker Review

It’s no secret that I’m a bit of an amateur when it comes to poker, I constantly have to check hands and I’m terrible at bluffing and for these reasons it may seem like an odd decision that I would review Full House Poker. However, I was interested to see if the game had the ability to draw my interest to poker and teach me how to play and win - but did I win or did I fold? It doesn't mat... more.Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood – The Da Vinci Disappearance Review

The Da Vinci Disappearance is the first piece of DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood to add new single player content, offering a "Restored Sequence" to the game's story. Taking place in the gap between the Chapters 8 and 9, the plot sees Ezio's faithful friend and irreplaceable aide Leonardo Da Vinci kidnapped by the Hermeticists, an underground cult dedicated to transforming mankind. They c... more.Torchlight Review

Nobody can dispute the quality of Blizzard’s games but boy, do they take their time! It’s been more than two years since the company announced Diablo III, and for fans of isometric dungeon-crawling, it’s been a long wait. But not an utterly agonising one thanks to Runic Games. In 2009, Runic released Torchlight for PC. Made by a team containing the co-designers of Diablo and Diablo II, To... more.Limbo, Trials HD, ‘Splosion Man retail pack incoming

The chances of any gamer owning an Xbox 360 and not having any form of Xbox Live account are pretty slim, but now even the unfortunate few that may not have access to Live can witness the awesomeness of these Xbox Live Arcade titles. Three of the best selling and most popular XBLA titles are to make their way to disc format in a neat little 3-in-1 bundle. It’s never easy launching a completely new IP to the world and this was certainly the case in 2004 with Ubisoft’s Beyond Good & Evil. Despite its high praise from press, the game failed to sell many copies and as a result went on fairly unknown. However, it’s now 2011 and Ubisoft are giving the game a lick of paint and another chance at success – but has it worked? The game takes pl... more.Hard Corps: Uprising Review

I may not be the right audience for Hard Corps: Uprising, recently released XBLA title and part of the Xbox House Party season. But then, chances are, neither are you. Fitting squarely in the run-and-gun genre of shooters, this is a nail-bitingly tough game that will stretch your skills as a gamer to the limits- par for the course for many fans of the genre. It’s certainly a tricky one, but does... more.TNT Racers Review

With a colourful splash screen and jolly, Pixar-esque music, it is immediately obvious what TNT Racers on Xbox Live Arcade aims to provide: pure fun. Coming in at 800MSP for 45 challenges, time trials and multiplayer modes, despite all outward appearances TNT isn't a soulless cash-in, designed to gain the attention and money of little children that wouldn't know any better. It instead manages to... more.SEGA Rally Online Arcade Announced
