Hosted by star of NBC's "Chuck" (and avid gamer) Zachary Levi, this year saw the ninth Spike TV Video Game Awards, or VGAs to you and I; one of the most spectacular video gaming events of the year. Playing host to a number of influential members of the gaming industry, the event also features appearances from A-list celebrities such as Charlie Sheen, Seth Green, Seann William Scott, Tony Hawk, ... more.WWE ’12 Review

WWE games have been stale for years now. As a fan, I have been looking on at the FIFA franchise in jealousy at their fancy collision engine and graphical updates and then I turn to look at my copy of Smackdown vs. Raw like it was a disappointing child who wants at home and gets high and doesn't bother to whilst the FIFA is off climbing the career ladder. Earlier this year THQ attempted to cas... more.Burnout Crash! Review

When I first read about Burnout Crash I was skeptical. The crashing element of Burnout is something which set it apart from other racers since it's first inception back in 2001 but would it hold up as a complex enough idea to form a whole arcade game? The answer: yes, yes it does. One thing is for sure, this installment of the Burnout series is NOT a driving game. In fact there is not even a ke... more.Mercury Hg Review

Mercury Hg is the latest incarnation of the Mercury Madness franchise which puts you in control of a solitary globule of mercury which needs to get from A to B in perilous fashion. Initially the game instantly reminded me of another Xbox Live Arcade title - Marble Blast Ultra, but it isn't quite marbles under a Bunsen burner. The first difference comes in how you move the mercury. Instead of ta... more.Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Review

I don’t know a lot about the Warhammer 40,000 universe, but thanks to Relic’s latest game, I know one thing for certain: Space Marines are tough. Really tough. Despite wearing more armour than your average army tank, they’re able to stomp into the heart of a battle, tear apart dozens of enemies single-handedly, and move onto the next fight with barely a hair out of place. In short, you would... more.Driver: San Francisco Review

There are few things as exciting as a good car chase. The screech of tyre on tarmac, the clash of metal on metal, the crunch of bumper on bumper – it’s exhilarating. Driver was the first title to truly capture this thrill as a videogame, but as it went on the series lost its way. It started putting too much focus on clumsily implemented on-foot sections and gunplay, culminating with the astoni... more.Bug Wings Review

In a world where Angry Birds reigns supreme, it is no wonder that pretenders aim to steal its crown, just like the pigs stole the eggs. Bug Wings has taken the flick and land mechanic of Angry Birds (minus the kamikaze nature) but fused it with another iOS game staple, using the gyroscope to fly which can make even the timid of game want to throw his or her iPhone out of the window in a fit of ... more.Win Eurogamer Expo 2011 tickets!

When the Wii was first announced, a lot of people got excited by the prospect of finally being able to swing a lightsaber. It never happened. The few Star Wars games on Wii have been average to terrible (except LEGO), with motion controls either not adding anything or not working. Then Sony announced Move, and people got excited all over again. No Star Wars game is forthcoming. It’s baffling ... more.inFamous 2 Review

I was incredibly late to the party with inFamous, in fact, I only completed the first game while it was free a few weeks back but sure enough I was ready and waiting for inFamous 2. Often a sequel is criticized for being “more of the same”, however when it comes to the inFamous series, I was more than happy for this to be the case - and thank heavens, it was. The game kicks off not long aft... more.
