Dance Central Review

As one of the launch titles for Microsoft’s Kinect sensor, Dance Central is certainly a showcase for the possibilities and opportunities that the new piece of technology has to offer. Requiring you to get up on your feet and moving, it demands you swing your arms, sway your hips, and kick your legs like a true pro as you work your way through its 30 plus long setlist learning the appropriate r... more.Rock Band 3 Review

It’s been a long two years but Rock Band is back and Harmonix have more to offer than ever before. Rock Band 3 features entirely new ways to play, an even larger library of music and enough party play features to make your house party the talk of the town. Rock Band 3 provides you with a whole new way to experience music. If you invest the right amount of time (and money!) then you’ll be re... more.Call of Duty: Black Ops Review

There’s popular, and then there’s Call of Duty. Less than a week after its release, it’s already become the best-selling entertainment release of the year. Fortunately for all those first day buyers, it’s a solid game, with plenty to offer fans of single player and multiplayer action. The campaign mode opens with Alex Mason, a member of a US Black Ops team, strapped to a chair and being... more. The UnderGarden Review

In an age of video gaming that sees yet more predictable rehashed first-person shooters take all the limelight, it's often a shame that many smaller releases get left by the wayside and go relatively unnoticed by the average gamer of today. Every once in a while a developer has the courage to create something that breaks away from the norm with ideas that are fresh and interesting. That is certain... more.Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction Review

For some strange reason, best known to someone else, the powers that be here at NXT Gamer consider me to be a Ben 10 fan of sorts, such was the absolute certainty that the promo copy of Ben 10: Cosmic Destruction would land on my doorstep. Having not even seen a millisecond of the (apparently) huge franchise on TV, I have little clues as to where this idea of me being a fan of a cartoon about youn... more.Vanquish Review

If there’s one thing you need to know about Vanquish, it’s that it is undeniably cool. From the very first moment the suits boosters kick in, all the way up to fighting a massive mechanical monstrosity, Vanquish retains an air of sleek, effortless superiority that whilst most games aim to obtain, few actually have. Of course, there are other elements that help it; it’s also an extremely capa... more.Fable III Review

It’s been two years since Fable II’s release and it’s safe to say there’s a lot of anticipation and hype surrounding the series’ return. Fable III was set to be one of the biggest and most immersive RPG experiences we’ve seen for years, but did Lionhead pull it off? Fable III is set fifty years on from the events of Fable II. The last monarch, your Hero in Fable II, has died and the... more.WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 Review

How do you deal with yearly, incrementally-changed releases? Do you fork out the cash every year for Tiger Woods? Do you stay a year behind and grab Madden for cheap? Do you skip a year or two so you can see real, heavyweight differences in a franchises releases? Unfortunately for my wallet, when it comes to the WWE THQ games, I’m option A. Every October I pay £40. £40 for what? £40 for a ros... more.Pinball FX 2 Review

Ever since I was a young boy I've played the silver ball. From Soho down to Brighton I must have played them all – well, maybe not quite, but Pinball FX was the first ever XBLA game I purchased along with numerous additional DLC tables, which I played for well over a year. So I was very happy to learn that Zen Studios were set to release a sequel, Pinball FX 2. I've always been a fan of Pinba... more.DJ Hero 2 Review

DJ Hero was last years new addition to the “Hero” family of games, with its highly innovative turntable peripheral and venture into music genres that had previously been overlooked within the music rhythm genre. After a moderately successful first attempt, Activision and Freestyle Games return with DJ Hero 2, but does it improve on the original or is it simply more of the same? One of the b... more.
