Virtua Tennis 4 marks Sega’s latest iteration in its long running franchise. Once again introducing players to the world of competitive ball-slinging, this is the fun alternative to the altogether more serious Top Spin 4, aiming to provide players with a more easily accessible but still addictive experience as you travel the globe participating in tournaments and encountering stars such as Feder... more.Outland Review

I’m going to come clean. I’ve never really been big on any of the Metroid or Castlevania games. I’ve never really played Ikaruga or Prince of Persia either. Pelt your tomatoes, burn me at the stake, shower me with insults or tell me I’m not fit for this line of work; I’ll understand, I assure you, but my spice-less gaming life doesn’t stop Housemarque’s Outland having that air of fam... more.Operation Flashpoint: Red River Review

I’ll make this clear from the very start- Operation Flashpoint: Red River is not Call of Duty. It’s not even Battlefield. This is not a game where you will find yourself rappelling down collapsing mountain tops, or single-handedly decimating an entire enemy base; rather, this is the game where you wait patiently 300 feet away from your target for them to show their faces, await confirmation of... more.Mortal Kombat Review

The Mortal Kombat series has been thrown from hand to hand over the past few years, especially since its previous owners, Midway, went under. This year, developer NetherRealm Studios has attempted to bring Mortal Kombat back to its violent and bloodthirsty roots - but did they pull it off? The Mortal Kombat series has always been notorious for its ridiculously insane storylines and this is no e... more.Portal 2 Review

There’s a ledge over there, yeah, there – out of your reach. See that wall behind you? I was once told that if a speedy thing goes in, a speedy thing comes out. So, how about you place an orange portal on that wall, and now, a blue portal beneath your feet. Good, now you’re thinking with portals. It’s safe to say that almost anybody that plays video games will have heard of Portal by ... more.Section 8: Prejudice Review

Section 8: Prejudice is the sequel to Timegate’s 2009 release, Section 8. Set directly after the events of the first game, it follows the central protagonist, Alex Corde, as he tracks down a high- profile prison escapee and unveils a conspiracy far deeper than he could have imagined. The galactic separatist group, Arm of Orion, are back, and they are stronger and more resourceful than previously... more.Pinball FX 2: MARS DLC Review

Since it's launch back in October of last year, Pinball FX 2 from Zen Studios has enjoyed a large amount of success with it becoming one of the most popular games featured on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Following on from the superb Marvel Pinball pack, they have returned with a new table and that comes in the form of MARS theme. As ever, the format remains the same and that is to keep your ball ... more.Yar’s Revenge Review

Yar's Revenge is a re-make of the 1982 Atari game of the same name. The original was very much of its time due to the fixed shooter style that was so popular in the late 1970's-80's and had very simplistic graphics due to the obvious technical limitations. This version has HD graphics and is a 3D shooter, as opposed to the side-scrolling method of its previous incarnation. Todays fetish of re-m... more.Mass Effect 2 – Arrival DLC Review

Mass Effect: Arrival marks the end of the succession of wildly varied downloadable episodes for Bioware’s critically-lauded space epic, Mass Effect 2. Intended to be a bookend to this middle chapter in Commander Shepard’s journey, it tells the story of a highly confidential, specially assigned mission given to Shepard from the thus far unseen, but ever present voice of the Alliance Military... more.Islands of Wakfu Review

When I first started playing Islands of Wakfu, I didn’t know about DOFUS, a comedy turn-based MMO developed by French studio Ankama. Since I wasn’t familiar with the franchise in any way, shape, or form, the first thing that struck me about Islands of Wakfu -- set 10,000 years before its MMO cousin -- was the art style. In fact, I’d go as far as saying that the art style is the one consta... more.
