Mafia first released way back in 2002 and was met with a overwhelmingly critical praise and great sales - or at least enough to warrant this sequel. Although I never played the first, I was expecting big things from Mafia II, hoping it would fill that it would be a good enough GTA clone to tide us over until Rockstar's next game in the franchise. Boy, was I wrong! First off, you will be suckere... more.

Medal of Honor is set for release this October on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, but will it be able to steal the crown from the Call of Duty franchise? This week, I took a trip to a secret location in the heart of London for a hands-on with the game and also for a special announcement. The event was held was in the basement of an old building, dressed up in a military theme. Along with various fellow ... more.

Achievements were first introduced by Microsoft with the release of the Xbox 360 back in 2005, and became so popular that both Sony and Valve added their own versions to their systems (PS3 and Steam, respectively) in the years following. Whilst they’re hated by some there is no denying the popularity - millions and millions of achievements and trophies have been unlocked by players all across th... more.

Hydro Thunder Hurricane has been one of this year's XBLA games I have been most looking forward to. We've seen all the trailers, but how good is the game? The belated sequel to Midway's Hydro Thunder arcade classic, the game pits powerboat racers against one another through ostentatious "theme park" levels filled with destructable environmental objects, huge waves and whirlpools, keeping each r... more.

Imagine the scene: it's 1916. You've been fighting on and off for what seems months, going on years. You're tired. You're hungry. The opposition are closing in slowly to take over your base. Your numbers are limited, everyone holding position. The enemy draws near. Your units turn to face them head on, firing with great speed. Some troops seep through to your side, there's nothing you can do. They... more.

How many missing or broken components does it take to deem a game “unfinished”? If a game can be played, experienced and completed, and yet be plagued with bugs and problems, then is it really a finished product? If so, how much is it really worth? Regardless of the answers to these questions, one as ugly and ramshackle as Sniper: Ghost Warrior should be studied and scrutinised further, for it... more.

It’s that time again when we receive a new Tiger Woods PGA Tour and after last year’s version I was left very disappointed and was very sceptical for the release of 2011. The addition of the precision putting was a great idea but was not well enough thought through and became too difficult in putting. A year has now passed and we have seen Tiger Woods being thrown into the limelight not bec... more.

If I could review Blur in just a few words then I would probably say that it is one of the best racers I’ve ever played, but I can't, so let's get started! There has been a few racing games to grace our presence over the past few months and Blur is just one of these. If you took part in the multiplayer beta of the game then you would have had a chance to try a small amount of the multiplayer ... more.

To say that I have been looking forward to UFC Undisputed 2010 is an understatement, not to say that last year’s offering was poor, just the fact that after playing the demo a short while back I knew we were going to get a much more polished and updated game with 2010’s edition. As soon as you load the game there is a different look and feel to the menus, a much simpler and easy to understa... more.
